At LBD we proudly design a variety of quality bath, body and skin care that compliments your skin by pure design. After all, you may not have control over the skin you were born in but you can control the products you use. We've sat down with the founder to get a list of her best product suggestions according to skin types.

Most prevalent on hands, feet, legs and face. Dry skin is identified
by body's resistance to retain moisture for an extended period
of time. Moisturizing with emollient rich creams is essential to

Sensitive/Eczema/Dermatitis
Chronic, superficial inflammations of the skin on face and

Mature/Aging
Generally different than younger skin and requires more tender love and care. Typically dryer due to shifts in hormonal balance causing a natural decrease in skin's oil production and ability to reproduce skin cells rapidly. Environmental factors and elements such as sun and climate affect our skin as we age. Choose products high in antioxidants, and phytophenols to increase skin's elasticity and radiance.
FOUNDER'S TIP: Don't skimp on the creams and ultra hydrants ...Apply creme to face and body at bed time to allow oils to penetrate and nourish skin cells over night. |

Acne/Breakout Prone
Common to the face, neck, chest and back area. Acne usually occurs in teens, young adults and some adults. A consistent skin care regimen will reduce the formation of new pimples.

Combonation
Can be both oily and dry or oily and normal at the same time. Generally oilier in T-Zone area (through middle of face and across forehead). The T-Zone generally has medium size pores that get larger towards the sides of the nostrils which lead to a shiny appearance. This skin type is all about balance and requires slightly more care than normal skin does.
FOUNDER'S TIP: Luckily you can use a variety of products! The key is oil-water balance of skin by treating both oily and dry areas of face seperately with appropriate products. To be on the safe side water-based products work best on your skin with a weekly exfoliation for dryer areas of the face to polish away dull skin.

Men/Hair & Razor Bump Prone
Your skin care regimen is just as important as womans, you just tend to prefer fewer steps. Men generally have larger sebaceous gland leading to oilier skin. A good daily cleanser, exfoliator and face lotion is the perfect start to a smooth finish.
